3D Animator

KEY DUTIES INCLUDE

Create and design characters and their physical attitudes based on a storyboard;
Create and design storied avatar behaviors and expressions;
Optimize and perfect characters look and dynamics.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

Degree in computer science or other involving graphic computing and multimedia;
Talented character animator;
Character animator on at least one title;
Attention to detail and respect for deadlines and budgets;
Time management and work prioritization;
Execution of timing, weight, expression, poses, etc.;
Realistic, humanoid, animal or environmental/contextual animation;
Cinematic and cut scene production;
Maya, 3ds Max and mocap;
Communication of ideas and critiques within an animation team;
Troubleshooting technical problems and creating solutions with regards to 3D animation in a 3D engine, from constraints to exporting, etc.
